Where It Started
George Bailes opened his department store in downtown Anderson on a simple belief: treat people right and do the work well, and they'll come back.
Harris Is Born
In the basement of that same department store, a flooring and carpet business quietly opened its doors. Harris Carpets was built on the same belief George Bailes had built on 40 years earlier: that if you treat people right and do the work well, they'll come back.
Growing With Anderson
Harris grew from a single carpet counter into a full flooring showroom, serving more homes and businesses across the Upstate each year.
